Top 5 favorite Quick and Easy Meals

Let’s start this blog off with a list of some of my favorite easy meals!

Now, I’m sure you’ve had the experience where you are too busy or unmotivated to cook a meal that takes over an hour to prepare. Me too!

I find it so easy to go to these three meals when this happens. They are quick to prepare and have little prep time, not to mention delicious as well.

Know, please, that the photos are super fancy displays of the suggested meal and identical-to-image photos would not be as quick to prepare.

Without rambling on further about how much I like these meals let’s just get on with the list… Here are some of the easiest meals you can make with minimal effort:

1. Pizza bagels

This simple meal fills me up with just one open-faced bagel, some tomato sauce, cheese, and a handful of pepperoni slices. A great choice if you want pizza without having to answer the door.

2. Quesadillas and soup

One of my favorite foods: cheese quesadillas. These can be made quick with the help of a panini maker or skillet (whichever is most handy). Prepared with your favorite can of soup for a great meal. I usually got for a broth-based vegetable soup to get more veggies in makes (bonus points if the soup has bits of chicken meat).

3. Taco salad bowl

Easier when you have pre-cooked taco meat in your freezer!  Just warm up the meat, chop a small tomato, and combine all the ingredients and you have yourself a very tasty meal. Yes, this image is just a normal salad. Just imagine it taco-fied!

4. Shrimp pasta

Who loves to make a quick pasta as a meal? Add shrimp (if you’re not allergic) and some parmesan and you’ve got yourself a quick meal! Combine with a salad for extra health bonus points.

5. Cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs

When is breakfast for supper a bad idea, hmm? Pop the pre-made cinnamon rolls in the oven to bake and whip up some eggs (I like to add cheese to mine) for a super quick meal.
